The first Universal Championship feud that could take place after WWE Crown Jewel

As Paul Heyman said on Monday Night RAW - the show must go on.

Following on from Roman Reigns' upsetting announcement regarding his leukemia diagnosis, the Universal Championship will still be on the line at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

VACANT TITLE

With The Big Dog relinquishing the title during the opening segment of RAW, the match is now a singles contest between Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar.

The plans have now been changed as The Monster Among Men has been switched to a face after another short run as a heel opposite The Shield.

The result, on the surface, seems relatively obvious.

With The Beast edging closer to a UFC return, it seems unlikely that the WWE will stick the Universal title on Lesnar for another part-time run. Although, fans have been swerved before and it won't be a surprise should it happen again.

However, Still Real To Us has shared a report from Barn Burner which suggests we won't have another part-time champion.

The source has claimed that the former Wyatt Family member is expected to defeat Lesnar in the Middle East to claim his first Universal Championship.

However, they've also revealed that Strowman is set to have a brilliant first title feud on the red brand and it's something the fans will absolutely love.

The source has added that Drew McIntyre will be Strowman's first challenger, and the seeds have already been planted for the two to eventually feud.

MCINTYRE VS STROWMAN

The Dogs of War imploded recently with Strowman distancing himself from McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, while the former also landed yet another huge Claymore Kick on Strowman during his promo with Heyman to hype up the Crown Jewel Universal Championship match.

Fans have wanted McIntyre in the title picture for quite some time, and some will be pleased that he's finally getting his shot at one of the major championships on RAW after he and Ziggler dropped the RAW tag team titles to Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

Although it could be too early for him to win, WWE has already made McIntyre look like a huge threat and a feud between the pair will surely be welcomed.
