Anthony Martial was the star man as Manchester United beat Everton 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The French forward won his team a penalty in the first-half and scored a brilliant goal four minutes after the half-time whistle.
The Red Devils survived some late Everton pressure after Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from the spot in the 77th minute.
Following another disappointing performance midweek, Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku was dropped by Jose Mourinho.
Marcus Rashford was given the opportunity to shine as a central striker at Old Trafford against Everton.
The 20-year-old Englishman impressed up front as a teenager under Louis van Gaal but has typically been deployed on the wing by Mourinho.
Rashford, making only his fourth Premier League start of the season, played 65 minutes before being replaced by Lukaku.
Man United fans on social media were discussing Rashford's performance in the number nine position.
They were all making the same point about how his style affected his Man United teammates.
Rashford was not at his best but the fans are absolutely spot on.
Paul Pogba and Martial were able to express themselves much more thanks to Rashford's movement ahead of them.
Lukaku hasn't troubled opposition defences this season - but Rashford's runs repeatedly stretched the Everton defence.
He's probably done enough to keep his starting spot for next week's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.
Mourinho explained his decision to drop Lukaku in his pre-match interview.
The Man United boss said: "The reason is, he is playing lots of matches and lately, not just not scoring goals, but also not showing lots of confidence.
"Sometimes we decide that the best thing for the players is to not be on the pitch, to be protected and away from the initial pressure."
Lukaku, signed for £75m in 2017, has failed to score in each of his last nine appearances for United in all competitions.
