It's happened, it's finally happened, everyone! The Cleveland Browns, after yet another loss to add to their increidble collection, have finally decided to part ways with head coach Hue Jackson.Yes, you really read that correctly, the Browns have gotten rid of the arguably the worst HC in the history of the National Football League. After managing to go an entire season without winning a game, a perfect 0-16, the Browns decided to give Hue Jackson a chance to turn things around in 2018. He lasted until the midway point of the season. After yet another loss, his 36th in 40 games in charge of the Browns team, general manager John Dorsey finally decided that enough was enough and got rid of Jackson today. The news was broken by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The Browns are currently 2-5-1 on the season, which despite being more wins than his first two seasons combined, wasn't good enough with the roster and talent level that the team now has.

Ever since Hard Knocks was broadcast during the preseason, the tension between Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley was noticeable, and it had seemingly boiled over in recent weeks.

Haley was also fired, adding to madness in Cleveland.

The reason why? Apparently, Dorsey had noticed the split between Jackson and Haley and felt a decision needed to be made. That decision was to get rid of both.

So, with the only head coaching vacancy in the NFL, Dorsey gets to sit down and look at everything before deciding who to bring in to steer the ship.

If you were to ask Browns fans on Twitter, there's only one man for the job. Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley.

While he doesn't work in the pro game, Riley has turned Oklahoma into the most-explosive team in college football. And the chance to reunite Baker Mayfield with his old HC seems just too good to be true.

The big question is whether or not Riley will want to come.

He's getting paid very well at Oklahoma and being the huge fish in a small pond, with relative job security for at least the next 5 years, is hard to walk away from.

But by god do we want it to happen. The Riley-Mayfield connection in the NFL would be amazing to watch.
