Exeter could be boosted by the return of Jamie Cureton for the home clash with Brentford.

The striker has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury but has trained all week and will come back into contention.

However, fellow forward Daniel Nardiello will not feature as he continues to struggle with a hamstring injury of his own.

Richard Logan is a doubt as he has missed training all week with an injury and he will face a late test.

Boss Paul Tisdale otherwise has no injury or suspension concerns.

The Grecians will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten record at St James Park this season having won three and drawn three of their six league games and will aim to take advantage of a weary Brentford side, who took Birmingham to extra time in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.

Ben Hamer returns to the Brentford squad for the trip.

The on-loan Reading goalkeeper was ineligible for Tuesday night's Carling Cup penalty shoot-out defeat at Birmingham and should regain his place from Richard Lee.

Boss Andy Scott could name an otherwise unchanged line-up following their fine display at St Andrew's.

Huddersfield loanee Robbie Simpson made his return as a substitute after almost two months out with a hamstring injury and should be involved again.

Fellow striker Carl Cort is therefore the only injury absentee as he continues his recovery from a torn Achilles.

The Bees have recovered from a poor start to the season and won their last two league games to move clear of the bottom three.
