Real Madrid are in a bit of a crisis right now.

Los Blancos currently sit tenth in the La Liga table after losing their last three games.

Their last result was the worst of all, losing 5-1 to Barcelona in El Clasico. Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick just to rub salt in the wounds.

Julen Lopetegui was given his inevitable marching orders on Monday evening, with Santiago Solari promoted from the Castilla team to temporary manager.

However, it is unlikely that Solari will be given the job on a permanent basis, unless he can perform some true miracles in the next few weeks - or maybe months.

As such, the likes of Antonio Conte, Roberto Martinez and Mauricio Pochettino are all being heavily linked with the job.

Conte could supposedly be out of the running after the Daily Mail reported that key figures in the Real dressing room were opposed to the Italian.

In Martinez's case, he would need approval from the Belgian FA, which he is unlikely to get.

So what about Pochettino, the most exciting name of the three? Well, it's pretty much public knowledge that Los Blancos are huge fans of the Argentine.

And it seems they are prepared to do whatever it takes to land the Tottenham manager.

According to The Sun, Real are preparing an extraordinary offer to tempt Pochettino away from north London in the summer.

They will double his wages to around £17m-a-year and will let him have a say in transfers.

Florentino Perez is famed for conducting his own transfer business, but even he is aware that he must alter his ways to make the offer too good to turn down.

He wants Pochettino to build a new 'Galacticos' side at the Bernabeu.

Sadly for Spurs fans, the players Pochettino would probably turn to would be those who have served him so well in London.

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen would be two names heavily linked with the Spanish capital.
