Alvaro Morata has been at Chelsea for 15 months now and he’s still struggling to win over the fans.

The Blues broke their club record to sign the striker from Real Madrid for £60 million and, initially, it looked to be money well spent.

But he finished the season with just 15 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions.

Not a particularly impressive return for a £60 million signing.

And Morata hasn’t exactly looked too impressive this season.

He may have scored during Chelsea’s 4-0 victory over Burnley on Sunday but he’s registered just four goals in 13 appearances in all competitions.

And it’s not just on the pitch that Morata is struggling.

During an advert shoot, Morata was tasked with scoring a goal - something he often struggles doing.

After flicking the ball into his shirt and running past a defender, Morata dropped the ball three yards up and tried to side-foot it past the goalkeeper.

However, he could only hit the post.

Oh dear.

And fans, as you’d expect, were killing him for his embarrassing moment.

FANS FOUND IT HILARIOUS

Check out the reaction:

Morata recently spoke about his first season at Stamford Bridge, admitting that he wasn’t particularly happy when he suffered some tough times.

“I’ve learned many things from last season. It was very difficult for me,” Morata said earlier this month.

“I’d like to be happier when I play, I need to score more goals in order to be happier. I was really sad a few months ago.

“I wasn’t depressed but I didn’t live my situation very well.

“People used to love me, I scored seven goals in the first seven games at Chelsea.

“Then I got injured and I was playing even if I was feeling pain. There was lot of tension and I didn’t want to speak to anybody.

“One day my wife told that I wasn’t handling the situation in the right way. I was angry because I thought she was against me too."
