Dillian Whyte has his say on David Haye managing Dereck Chisora

Dillian Whyte & Dereck Chisora

Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora will go to war for the second time in London on December 22.

The two Brits fought in a heavyweight classic back in 2016 and this time, there is a lot more on the line.

Whoever emerges victorious will be one of the frontrunners to meet Anthony Joshua at Wembley in April 2019.

Should a deal with Deontay Wilder not be sorted, the champion will turn to the winner of Whyte vs Chisora.

It has all the makings of another classic, with both entering the fight in stellar form.

Whyte defeated Jospeh Parker back in June, with Chisora knocking out Carlos Takam on the undercard that very same night.

It was the boost Chisora's career needed, with Del Boy then surprising everyone recently by hiring his former nemesis David Haye as his manager.

A bold move to say the least and Whyte has given his verdict on his opponent's decision.

The Body Snatcher said: “If Don Charles has had 20 years and couldn’t change anything, what is David going to do?

“Because David Haye glassed him maybe and broke Don Charles’ jaw and bashed him up in the ring maybe he thinks, ‘This guy bashed me up in and out of the ring and so he knows more than Don Charles.’”

Whyte continued by saying he thought that Haye and Chisora would break their ties in the near future.

“I think the wheels will definitely fall off because Dereck is a mad man," he said. "You have to know how to deal with Dereck and David is a narcissist and an egotistical maniac and it’s hard to work with someone like that.

"Dereck is very proud and stubborn and forceful also. They’re similar in many ways and David is probably going to think I don’t need this, I got you the fight and I got my 25 per cent.

"If he sticks it out then it’s a real achievement; it’s more of an achievement for David than for Dereck."
