WWE Crown Jewel is set to take place in Saudi Arabia later today and it looks like it should be a good event inside the ring despite the controversy surrounding the show outside of the ring.

The main event of the show will likely be the finals of the World Cup which features Bobby Lashley, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, and Rey Mysterio.

Also on the card, Braun Strowman will face off against Brock Lesnar for the vacant Universal Championship, and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) will take on The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) in a tag team match.

Due to the controversy surrounding Crown Jewel, WWE may be looking to make the show memorable in order to try and direct the news of the event in a positive direction.

According to Wrestling News, two huge superstars could be appearing at Crown Jewel later today despite not having matches on the show or being advertised for the show. Spoilers ahead.

Wrestling News has stated that Dean Ambrose and Drew McIntyre have both been seen in Saudi Arabia this week despite not being advertised for Crown Jewel.

This has led to speculation that Ambrose will advance his storyline with Rollins at the event. The Kingslayer will be facing Lashley in the quarter-finals of the WWE World Cup and could go far in the tournament.

As for McIntyre, he will likely be accompanying Dolph Ziggler in the World Cup tournament, but there could be some even bigger plans in store for him.

The Chosen One could also be in Saudi Arabia in order to kick off his expected storyline with Strowman, as the two are expected to battle over the Universal title after the Crown Jewel show.

It looks as though we could be in store for a big finish at Crown Jewel later today, especially if Ambrose and McIntyre get involved in their expected feuds despite not having a match on the show.
