As Daniel Cormier prepares to defend his UFC heavyweight title for the first time, all the talk surrounds a future fight with Brock Lesnar.Cormier, who became a two-weight world champion when he defeated Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 adding to his light-heavyweight strap, will meet Derek Lewis tomorrow night (Saturday, October 3).However, former heavyweight champion Lesnar seems to be stealing the headlines, as ‘The Beast’ is expected to be present to watch Cormier and Lewis headline UFC 230, staged at Madison Square Garden.Lesnar is currently suspended by USADA having failed a drugs test after his octagon return against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July 2016, but the WWE star is eligible to fight again in January 2019, leading to rumours a fight between him and DC will be targeted for the new year.Cormier spoke to reporters at a media day, and revealed he would like to meet Lesnar on January 26, when UFC 233 is held at Anaheim, California, and also pointed out that his rival looks ‘tiny’.

Cormier on a future fight with Lesnar

“January 26 in Anaheim, is Brock eligible by then?” Cormier asked.

"He looks smaller on WWE right now, you see his face? He looks tiny. Yeah, maybe on January 26. I think I have a wrestling tournament that weekend, but we will see.

"I like Brock, I really do. Brock just isn't going to take no s***. Brock isn't going to mess around with you."

The last time Cormier and Lesnar came face-to-face was after DC defeated Miocic, and the meeting ended in a physical altercation.

Lesnar entered the cage after Cormier knocked Miocic out in the first round, and responded to DC’s call out, and the 41-year-old proceeded to shove the newly crowned two-weight champion.

Cormier has already warned Lesnar that he will ‘slap’ him if he is to try anything similar after his fight with Lewis.

But with the a super-fight between Cormier and Lesnar imminent, will we see the The Beast come face-to-face with DC on Saturday?
