On Saturday, Vissel Kobe ended their eight-game winless streak. The J-League club beat struggling Nagoya Grampus 2-1 thanks to a brace from German striker Lukas Podolski.Andres Iniesta, 34, joined Vissel Kobe in the summer after ending his 22-year stay at Barcelona. The legendary Spanish midfielder scored two brilliant goals in his first four appearances in Japan - but he hasn't fared so well over the last couple of months."Iniesta will play a dozen superb passes that nobody else on the pitch would have been capable of," says Ben Mabley, an English football commentator based in Osaka, as per Bleacher Report."Unfortunately, because he's so much better than his team-mates, they aren't necessarily making the right runs for him."Podolski, who joined Vissel Kobe one year earlier than Iniesta, has 130 caps for Germany. The 33-year-old former Arsenal forward certainly possesses the ability to form an understanding with Iniesta. And, in the 10th minute, they got on the same wavelength to devastating effect against Nagoya Grampus.Podolski passed the ball to Iniesta, who found a pocket of space in midfield.Given far too much time and far too much space, Iniesta brilliantly picked out Podolski's run with a genius lobbed pass.

It's always a joy to see Iniesta at his best.

They now have just three league games remaining and the 2-1 victory took Vissel Kobe up into 10th, away from immediate relegation danger.

"Me and my family are very happy," Iniesta said in September. "It feels like we've been here forever.

"We're getting more settled in every day. It's a great experience for my wife and kids. So far it has been great."

After spending his whole professional career at Barcelona, Iniesta signed a three-year deal with Vissel Kobe in May and is reportedly earning £22.5m a year.
