Manchester United visited Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime. The Cherries, who started the game three points ahead of Man United, started brilliantly at Dean Court and deservedly took the lead through Callum Wilson in the 11th minute. However, Jose Mourinho's side equalised against the run of play through Anthony Martial in the 35th minute.Signed in the summer for £52m, Fred made his second successive start after playing 90 minutes against Everton last weekend. The 25-year-old Brazilian is yet to make his mark at Old Trafford after joining from Shakhtar Donetsk.Hauled off in the 56th minute, Fred didn't produce a particularly memorable performance against Bournemouth. But everyone was criticising the Man United midfielder for his behaviour just before the half-time whistle.

"Embarrassing"

Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook softly shoved Fred as he attempted to retrieve the ball for his team.

Fred's reaction to the shove was frankly pathetic.

Football fans on social media were far from impressed with Fred's antics.

Evidently, this kind of behaviour won't impress do his reputation any good in the Premier League.

Poor show of sportsmanship.

"Manchester United is a huge team, so, if results are not coming, people and the press will wonder why, for sure," said Fred in October, as per Goal.

"They'll think something is wrong, so that's normal, that's a pressure you have anywhere, in a company, if results don't show up.

"And Man United is not different, with such the quality and importance they have."

Man United's marquee summer signing said he's happy at his Old Trafford, despite struggling to nail down a spot in the starting XI.

"I'm very happy in this new life I'm having, at this new club, adapting. That's a bit different for me but very nice," Fred added.

"They help me a lot to adapt and in everything, to learn English. This is very important for me.

"The championship is very different from the one I was playing before, so I'm trying to adapt as fast as I can, watch the players when they're training, the way they work, the positions they have.

"I guess this makes it easier for me to get adapted. I hope to keep strong and focused to play more with Manchester."
