With another WWE Raw in the books, as usual, the fans had some good things to cheer about and some not so good things to moan about.

On the one hand, for the first time in a WWE ring, we were treated to Drew McIntyre versus Kurt Angle and the Scottish Psychopath comprehensively dispatched of the WWE Hall of Famer.

On the other hand, we were subjected to three rematches.

The Riott Squad battled Natalya, Sasha Banks and Bayley while Nia Jax and Ember Moon squared off again, just like Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor did as well.

In amongst that lazy writing, we saw some more developments between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

The Lunatic Fringe turned on his Shield brother just a couple of weeks ago, just moments after they had won the Raw Tag Team titles.

It seemed like Rollins was about to relinquish the belts on Raw, but acting general manager Baron Corbin forced him to defend them against the Authors of Pain in what would turn out to be a handicap match.

Despite a valiant effort, Rollins would lose and Ambrose would hit him with Dirty Deeds after the bell, teasing an explanation for his heel turn.

GiveMeSport was at the MEN Arena to cover Raw and sources have suggested that the AOP were picked as the next challengers because WWE wants The Revival to feud with them.

Both teams created magic together in NXT and when DIY - Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa - were factored in, it was some of the best tag team wrestling the WWE has ever seen.

The Raw tag team division is floundering at present. The only viable contenders to the AOP are Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, but the former seems destined to go on a solo surge now.

Elsewhere, The B Team, Heath Slater and Rhyno, Lucha House Party and the combination of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable make up a very underwhelming list of challengers.

Revival Vs AOP makes perfect sense and the Rollins/Ambrose storyline will probably roll on until around WrestleMania 35.
