Former Bayern Munich goalkeeper Michael Rensing is set for a trial at Leicester.

The 26-year-old is a free agent after having his contract terminated by the German giants at the end of last season.

"He is coming here. It is only on trial and nothing is decided yet," manager Sven-Goran Eriksson told the Leicester Mercury. "A lot of agents are ringing to ask if their players can come on trial."

Meanwhile, Eriksson also confirmed some players are set to leave the club on loan deals.

He added: "We are talking to two clubs regarding Tom Kennedy and maybe one or two others will go on loan."
