It's safe to say there were more than a few raised eyebrows after WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
10 days removed from the event, fans are still talking about how Shane McMahon, a man who wasn't even in the World Cup tournament, won the World Cup.
Apparently, he also won the right to call himself the best in the world. Eat your heart out CM Punk, huh?
Another big talking point revolved around the Universal title. Of course, Roman Reigns was forced to relinquish the belt due to his ongoing battle with Leukaemia, and, as a result, forfeited his spot in the triple-threat at Crown Jewel.
That left Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman to battle it out for the vacant title and many fans thought this had to be Strowman's time, especially given the fact that Lesnar will be training for a UFC comeback.
That wasn't to be the case. Baron Corbin hit Strowman with the belt before the match could get underway and Lesnar followed that up with five unanswered F5s - and that was all she wrote.
WWE keep putting Strowman in title matches and in positions close to the belt, but they never want to pull the trigger on the Monster Among Men. However, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Strowman is working with two blown-out knees right now and has been working hurt for a while.
Meltzer went on to say that there is a lot of pressure on Strowman to be the next in line to win the title, so there is room for him to have time off, especially in light of the Reigns news. So, he's working hurt.
If that is the case, we can't see how sprinting around looking for Baron Corbin and such would help those knees. WWE would be wiser to write Stowman off TV for a while, let him recover and come back in a blaze of rage.
If Drew McIntyre, for example, was the man to put him on the shelf, he'd really be skyrocketing.
Until Strowman gets healthy again, it's very unlikely they would trust him with a title run and the fact that he was squashed at Crown Jewel and avoided a lengthy match seems to support Meltzer's idea.
