Arsenal have secured the long-term futures of promising under-16 trio Zach Fagan, Anthony Jeffrery and Isaac Hayden.

The youngsters are so highly-rated that the club have offered them scholarship terms three months early and will use that full amount of time to decide on the futures of four others.

In addition, German wonderkid Serge Gnabry will pen a similar deal when his transfer from Stuttgart to the Emirates Stadium is complete in July next year.

The four who are waiting on further developments are Billy Duval, Jamal Wiseman, Alfred Martin and Jordan Palmer-Samuels – but the club have let many leave, including losing one youngster to Chelsea.

Arsene Wenger is an admirer of the Gunners’ youth academy and, as well as bringing talent from abroad, has recently brought a lot of homegrown talent into the first team this season.

Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas are the main three names that have impressed for Arsenal this season and have a big part to play in the club’s future.

The trio that have signed this week will be hoping they can emulate Arsenal’s academy products by forging a career at the Emirates.
