Colchester will check on Magnus Okuonghae and Anthony Wordsworth ahead of the visit of Leyton Orient.

Centre-half Okuonghae (ankle) and winger Wordsworth (hamstring) were ruled out of Saturday's 2-1 win over Bournemouth which lifted the Us up to third.

Defender Pat Baldwin is pushing to be added to the squad after recovering from a foot injury, but winger Simon Hackney is still on the sidelines with a back problem and striker Steven Gillespie misses out with a thigh strain.

Tommy Williams plays the final game of his loan spell from Bristol City, with fit-again regular left-back Marc Tierney (shoulder) on the bench again.

Williams crashed in a 30-yard free-kick, his first goal in six years, against the Cherries.

Rookie winger Paul-Jose M'Poku is doubtful for Orient.

The Tottenham loanee missed Saturday's 2-1 win over Rochdale with a hamstring strain and is still struggling.

Veteran striker Scott McGleish will sit out again with his rib injury but boss Russell Slade has no new worries.

Goalkeeper Jamie Jones is fit after a month on the sidelines with a groin injury but only made the bench on Saturday with Slade opting to stick with Lee Butcher.

French frontman Jonathan Tehoue was also among the substitutes after shaking off a virus and will be involved again.

Saturday's success lifted the Os out of the bottom three but they are yet to win on the road this season.
