Football fans around the world will gather to watch the Manchester Derby on Sunday.

That’s despite the fact that Manchester City finished 19 points ahead of their rivals last season - and have already established a nine-point lead over the Red Devils in the 2018-19 campaign.

Regardless of the fact that Man City are the best team in Manchester right now, the derby remains one of the most appealing fixtures in the game.

The battles will be intense. Ederson versus David de Gea. David Silva versus Paul Pogba. Raheem Sterling versus Anthony Martial.

Then, of course, there’s Pep Guardiola versus Jose Mourinho.

Both sides enter the contest on a good run of form. City are unbeaten in the Premier League while Manchester United have collected 10 points out of 12 in the league and are coming off a 2-1 win against Juventus.

But Jose Mourinho's side will have to stop one of the most potent strikers in the world in Sergio Aguero if they are to stand any chance of winning.

Aguero's new look

The Argentinian has found the net 10 times in 14 appearances in all competitions this season. He’s been in sensational form.

And he’s ensured that all eyes will be on him for Sunday’s match by getting a new look.

Aguero took to Instagram on Saturday to show off his now silver hair.

We’ve certainly seen worse.

Gary Lineker tweets

His new image quickly prompted a reaction from Match of the Day host Gary Lineker on Twitter.

“A new look for @aguerosergiokun,” Lineker wrote. “Been adding silver to my hair for years. Knew it would catch on some day.”

Quality stuff, Gary.

The Manchester clubs produced two excellent encounters last season.

Manchester City prevailed at Old Trafford; Manchester United then went to the Etihad Stadium and left with all three points.

Aguero was named on the bench for both matches, but Guardiola isn't in a position to leave him out of the starting line-up now.
