Drew McIntyre is someone who knows about succeeding in NXT.

After a failed first stint in WWE where he was unable to live up to his 'Chosen One' moniker, The Scotsman reinvented himself back in the independent scene to cause an instant splash when debuting on NXT.

Although his run there didn't last too long, he enjoyed a reign as NXT Champion - but now is the time where WWE fans are most excited.

Ever since he aligned himself with Dolph Ziggler, rumours suggested that big things were in store for the former 3MB member.

Since then, it's been revealed that Vince McMahon and Triple H are personally moulding him into a main event star, and now speculation has suggested that he could be one of two opponents Brock Lesnar faces for the Universal Championship later this year.

McIntyre's resurgence on the main roster will prove to be great motivation for those on NXT, even more so for the two names he's pinpointed as stars that are ready for the main roster right away.

When speaking to Planeta Wrestling, McIntyre stated that Velveteen Dream and Ricochet are two ready to make the jump.

According to Wrestling Inc, he said: "When I came to NXT, I knew it was the right move because NXT was in a position like it always is.

"It's up here [raises hand]. Then RAW and SmackDown get some of the talent. Talent move over and then it restarts again, and it was during a restart phase that I came in.

"We started building up the roster. We started building up the towns, the towns were down. We started getting more people in the shows and watched it go up and up and up.

"Then we got more talent in. People started finding themselves like the Velveteen Dream, and now, from top to bottom the roster is stacked."

"[NXT] is a really good place right now so it's hard to choose, there's so many talented people. Everyone talks about Velveteen Dream, that's an obvious one. Ricochet is an obvious one. It's just everybody."

Velveteen Dream has universal praise ever since he debuted the gimmick on NXT - even John Cena admitted he wants to compete against him while everyone knows just how much talent Ricochet oozes.

Ricochet himself has received praise from The Rock, so McIntyre has chosen two names very wisely.
