Alexis Sanchez is less than a year into his £80 million contract at Manchester United but reports suggest he’s already looking to leave the club.

The Chilean was stolen under the noses of Manchester City by Jose Mourinho but has since scored just four goals in 24 appearances.

And according to a recent report in The Times, Sanchez's agent, Fernando Felicevich, has been in contact with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible move.

But the report is a lot more significant than just a transfer rumour.

They claim that Alexis is “Lonely, bored and ignored” at Old Trafford.

But the most serious aspect in the report might be the fact that Sanchez speaks to just three of his teammates.

They say that only David de Gea, Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku have a relationship with Alexis, with other teammates believing that Sanchez hasn’t done enough to improve his English.

There’s also an opinion among the players that Sanchez frequently demands the ball and is selfish in possession - often lamenting his teammates’ mistakes on the pitch.

That’s a serious worry.

His relationship with Mourinho is also suffering with Sanchez having a tendency of answering back and criticising his manager’s tactics.

Elsewhere, Sanchez is living in the quiet town of Wilmslow - half an hour drive away from Manchester.

It seems an odd place for Alexis to live, considering he loved the hustle and bustle of London while at Arsenal.

While things off the pitch certainly don’t seem to be going too smoothly for Sanchez, things on the pitch might just be improving.

Sanchez played as a number nine against Juventus in midweek and helped the Red Devils pull off an incredible 2-1 victory.

And one of his mates, Mata, hopes that Sanchez will continue to improve.

"Alexis is a great player, a great friend and I hope he keeps improving," the Spaniard said after the Juve win.
