Neville hasn't competed with the WWE now for over a year. In fact, after a lengthy absence, he left the company due to being unhappy with WWE Creative.
Now competing under the name PAC, the British wrestler is now wrestling for Dragon Gate in Japan. He's part of the heel R.E.D. stable in the promotion.
This comes after WWE froze his contract for ten months before finally granting his release in August. The former superstar seems to be enjoying life away from the WWE and on the independent circuit.
Despite not being able to compete for any wrestling company during his ten months away from the WWE, Neville has managed to keep himself in fantastic shape.
PAC posted a photo of himself onto his Twitter account and, as you can see below, he appears to be in the best shape of his life.
He also declared on his Twitter that the "King is Dead," citing he won't be going by that name anymore. Also, he stated that he has no gimmick.
Neville is one of the most in-demand wrestlers on the indies at the moment, but for the time being, he's staying exclusive to Dragon Gate.
With top talent like Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks being teased with possible moves to the WWE, PAC could become the biggest star on the independent circuit with top promotions like Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling coming after him.
Neville is unlikely to return to the WWE anytime soon due to the manner in which his previous time with the company ended due to contract disputes. He didn't appear for WWE between October 2017 and August 2018 despite being under contract.
His last televised match for the WWE was against Ariya Daivari during an episode of 205 Live. At the time, he was feuding against Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Championship, who is also no longer part of the company.
