Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury is just under three weeks away.

The biggest heavyweight clash of the year will pit two of the division's undefeated superstars against each other at the LA Staples Centre.

Wilder, the reigning WBC champion, will go into the fight as the considerable favourite after Fury's prolonged absence from the ring.

The Brit has fought twice since his return against Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianeta, but Wilder is a different prospect altogether.

The Bronze Bomber is one of the most feared fighters in the game, recording 39 knockouts in his 40 professional bouts.

However, Fury is clearly not impressed with that record, because the Gypsy King has given a brutal assessment of Wilder's last six fights.

When asked about his opponent's record, he told BT Sport: “His last six fights are the only fights that really count.

"[Bermane] Stiverne, a small heavyweight who was old and finished. Johann Duhaupas, a Frenchman that has no ability but tries hard. Wilder didn’t hurt him once in the fight.

"Eric Molina, a school teacher who got lucky - took him nine rounds to get rid of him. Artur Szpilka, who’s lost all his fights by knockout even up until today; a bit of movement and he gave him problems.

"Gerald Washington, a football player with a bit of a jab; he gave him problems for five rounds until he landed - not a boxer though.

"Then there was [Luis] Ortiz who forgetting his age, was a good man, but we know father time catches up with everybody."

He's not impressed at all.

Ortiz was Wilder's toughest opponent to date, with the Cuban brawler very nearly getting the better of the Bronze Bomber in the Brooklyn.

King Kong is set to fight Travis Kauffman on the Wilder vs Fury undercard and if he wins that, he'll be eyeing up some bigger fights in the future.
