A feud that might have been forgotten about recently due to Crown Jewel and the build-up to Survivor Series is that between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

Ambrose turned on Rollins a couple of weeks ago after the two had won the Raw Tag Team titles and Roman Reigns had announced he was taking time away from the WWE to battle leukaemia.

While this night might have initially split up The Shield once more, The Lunatic Fringe officially confirmed The Brothers of Destruction were no more with an unthinkable act on Monday Night Raw this week.

Corey Graves was initially interviewing Intercontinental Champion Rollins in the middle of the ring about his upcoming match against United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series when Ambrose appeared on the big screen.

After weeks of silence, Ambrose finally told the WWE Universe exactly why he turned his back on The Shield on that night of all nights, as well as why he attacked Rollins.

The Lunatic Fringe mocked everyone who has been looking for answers and slammed The Kingslayer for talking down to him and treating him like a charity case.

Ambrose stated he didn't have any remorse for his actions. He thought The Shield made him look strong, when actually it made him look weak.

He then threw the vest he wore as part of The Hounds of Justice into a barrel fire.

This was arguably Ambrose's strongest promo in the WWE for months and it has now officially diminished any sort of hope that Ambrose and Rollins would make amends.

They're now on a collision course to face each other in a match in the ring, with the most likely venue for their match being the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view on December 16.

However, with the Intercontinental Champion competing this weekend at Survivor Series in a Champion vs Champion match against the United States Champion Nakamura, we could easily see Ambrose getting involved to cost Rollins the match to accelerate this feud further.

We, therefore, may not have to wait much longer to receive the next chapter in this feud.
