In the past few months, Becky Lynch has found herself breathing rarefied air in the WWE.

Sure, superstars get popular in the WWE, a catchphrase, music or finisher might get over, but to reach beloved status is quite the moment in WWE.

One could argue, for the first time in WWE history, the biggest star in the company is a woman - and it's Becky Lynch.

There's no doubt that the WWE thought Ronda Rousey would reach that status and now that The Baddest Woman on the Planet is at odds with The Man, fans have quite obviously chosen Lynch's side.

Unfortunately, their champion versus champion clash at Survivor Series is now off after Lynch suffered a broken face and a concussion following a heavy strike from Nia Jax on Raw.

While it is believed Jax is in a lot of trouble backstage because of the reckless punch, the WWE have had to scramble to make new plans moving forward.

Charlotte Flair will step into the breach and face Rousey on Sunday and many believed that would be a matchup at WrestleMania 35.

According to Dave Meltzer, those plans have changed. Meltzer is reporting that Rousey V Lynch is now scheduled to not only take place at WrestleMania, but headline WrestleMania.

Meltzer noted that it was a joint decision between Vince McMahon and Ronda to have the match take place at WrestleMania after seeing how the crowd have reacted to the feud.

Regarding the women’s title, Meltzer speculated that Becky could be stripped of the title, win the 2019 Royal Rumble, and challenge Ronda in New York next April. That, of course, would make sense, because Becky would need to be able to get across to Raw to challenge Rousey and that's one logical way she could do that.

Meltzer did note, however, those plans will largely depend on when Lynch gets cleared.

One thing is for sure, this whole injury and angle with Rousey has made Lynch a bigger star than many six months ago could have even imagined. With a history-making WrestleMania main event in the works, it's on the WWE now to make sure she stays prominent.
