Mike McCarthy's time at the Green Bay Packers is running out, especially after some of the decisions which he made during Thursday Night Football this week against the Seattle Seahawks. After having a late fourth-quarter lead, the Packers lost 27-24 against the Seahawks, putting them further behind in the playoff race in the NFC North with a 4-5-1 record. One of the questionable decisions McCarthy made was when his team was trailing 27-24 and his team was facing a fourth-and-2 from their own 33-yard line with just over four minutes remaining in the game.Rather than giving the ball to his quarterback Aaron Rodgers, one of the best, if not the best, players in his position in the NFL to see what he could do, he opted to punt and see if his defense could get a stop.Unsurprisingly, they couldn't, and the Packers lost the game as a result, putting even more pressure on the team's head coach. After the loss, McCarthy was asked if he thought about going for it on fourth down.McCarthy said, via the team's Twitter account: "We have the injuries to Kenny Clark and Mike Daniels, so yeah, it was definitely a consideration there. But with the one timeout and the ability to stop the clock at the two-minute [warning], we played the numbers."McCarthy added that he was apparently going to use the team's final timeout to think things over if they had gone for it on fourth down.He said: "We considered taking a timeout there and going for it on fourth-and-2."The Packers failed to manage their timeouts throughout the entire second half, and these quotes from McCarthy are just another example of how the head coach would have mismanaged another. Sure, you want to make sure you're doing the right thing on fourth down, but you probably don't want to waste your final timeout in that situation, especially with 4:20 still left in the game.If they did, the Packers would have been unable to stop the clock or challenge anything for 2:20 remaining in the game while still being behind by three. To no one's surprise, Packers fans were definitely upset with the way McCarthy coached in Seattle.

McCarthy's time at Green Bay is running out, and if he's unable to turn things around before the end of the season and at least get this team into the playoffs, he very well could be out of the door.
