There was a growing concern amongst Seattle Seahawks fans that Doug Baldwin was not the player that he used to be this season, and that injuries may have stripped him of his elite status. However, those concerns were washed away by the wide receiver during Thursday Night Football this week when the Seahawks played against the Green Bay Packers.Through his first seven games, Baldwin caught only 23 passes for 275 yards and zero touchdowns. That all changed against the Packers last night. The wide receiver caught seven passes for 52 yards and a touchdown, helping Seattle defeat Green Bay 27-24, moving the team to a 5-5 record on the season as well keeping them in the playoff hunt.A healthy and productive Baldwin could be exactly what the Seahawks need to make a push for the postseason, especially if he's making finger-tip catches like the one shown below.

His over-the-shoulder touchdown catch in the top corner of the endzone for his first score of the 2018 season was smooth as well.

Baldwin could've had another touchdown earlier in the game if his quarterback, Russell Wilson, hadn't missed him wide open in the endzone.

After eight games, Baldwin now sits on 30 catches on the season with 327 yards and a single touchdown and is getting hot at the right time for the Seahawks.

The wide receiver might not get many more chances to make an impact on the season due to the team's run-first attack, but he must be ready for Seattle when called upon to keep them in the playoff hunt.

After finally admitting during the week that he's finally pain-free for the first time this season, Wilson will likely now look more his way in key situations to keep Seattle in games.

Sitting on a 5-5 record, the Seahawks will have to make sure they keep on winning in order to make the postseason, and that continues when they take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 after a 10-day rest.
