Becky Lynch has been riding the crest of a wave recently, becoming the hottest commodity in the whole of WWE.But one moment on Monday Night Raw this past week could have possibly derailed everything she has worked towards.Lynch lead a SmackDown invasion of the red brand, putting her Survivor Series opponent Ronda Rousey in her DisArmHer finisher back in the locker room. The Lasskicker then made her way to the ring, and joined her blue brand colleagues in an all-out brawl with the Raw females. However seconds later, footage showed Lynch badly bleeding from the nose, and we found out a day later that it was Nia Jax who landed the telling blow with a vicious right hand.Speculation on the internet started to come out hours before SmackDown Live's show in St. Louis that the bout between Lynch and Rousey at this Sunday's pay-per-view would be cancelled, and that proved to be correct information as it was announced at the start of the show. And WWE have now released exclusive backstage footage of the day Lynch found out about her nightmare injury. The cameras picked up Paul Heyman talking to her before catching up with the self-proclaimed 'Man' of WWE, who was clearly teary-eyed after what she had heard.

"I can't really remember anything," Becky told the WWE cameras."I just knew that it wasn't going to stop me.

"I don't want to be sitting out right now. I keep begging them to let me do something and i'll be fine."

You can see how much it meant to Lynch about facing-off against Rousey, she's worked so hard to organically become one of the most, if not the most, over talent on the entire roster - and now Charlotte has to take her place.

But it could be a positive in the long run. Reports have come out this week that because of the reaction to the feud, Vince McMahon is set to book Lynch against Rousey at WrestleMania 35, potentially as a main event match.

And if that indeed does happen, the unfortunate injury will have been a blessing in disguise for the Irishwoman.
