Many thought Brock Lesnar wouldn't be with WWE post-Crown Jewel, but to the surprise of many, he walked out of Saudi Arabia with the Universal Championship over his shoulder once again.
Backstage sources revealed that Roman Reigns was supposed to be victorious in a triple threat match, but after his illness forced him away from the ring, the bout was turned into a singles match between Lesnar and Braun Strowman.
With Lesnar actively looking to return to the UFC in early 2019, a Strowman victory was expected, but a total of five F5s put the Monster Among Men away, and kick-started the Beast Incarnate's second run with the title.
He returned to Raw this week to help promote his Survivor Series bout with AJ Styles - which has now been changed to a first-time-ever in WWE clash with Daniel Bryan.
But after being confronted by Jinder Mahal, Brock was really, really reckless in his actions towards one half of the Singh Brothers, Sunil.
Lesnar literally flung Singh all the way across the ring as he landed on his neck from a German Suplex, repeating the move a minute later.
It was cringeworthy to watch, and Singh could've suffered a really serious injury had he landed any worse.
And the move has apparently seen Lesnar fiercely criticised backstage, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Per WrestlingInc, Meltzer has revealed that more superstars have apparently complained about Lesnar than Nia Jax after she concussed and broke the nose of SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch this past week on Raw.
The frustration apparently stems from the fact that superstars feel Lesnar is 'bulletproof' from any criticism or blame from within the company, so it's likely that he won't even be reprimanded for his mistake.
It's a big move if stars are willing to stand up to Lesnar. He's notorious for being a lone wolf backstage, having his own space and not really interacting with the other wrestlers when he's in town.
And if the top superstars are willing to speak out against his occasional recklessness, we may not see Lesnar get his own way all the time with his privileged schedule.
