Becky Lynch has become the talk of the WWE since her 'heel turn' at SummerSlam back in August.

Lynch turned her back on her fellow horsewoman Charlotte Flair after she won the SmackDown Women's Championship, and began a run that saw her not only claim the title from Flair, but become a new star in the business.

Let's be honest, Becky's always had that 'it' factor which is why the WWE Universe is so receptive towards her, but it's only within the last few months where the company has let her carry the ball.

And what a fine job she has done with it, drawing all eyes to her feud with Ronda Rousey, which was supposed to climax with a match at this weekend's Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Well, that's how it was supposed to be, but thanks to an ill-timed punch by Nia Jax on Raw, a broken nose and concussion has forced Lynch to miss the event and be replaced by Flair.

It could end up all working out for the Lasskicker in the end - a WrestleMania main event with Rousey is now being rumoured to happen in April 2019.

The whole segment on Monday night made Lynch look like a star though, and she was given a heap of praise by four-time WWE World Champion Big Show.

Show played down the actual punch being legitimate, but also praised Lynch for her role in making the whole scene a spectacle.

"This is a physical business, though it's an entertainment business. There's a predetermined outcome. All that we know, but you can't fake gravity, and physical contact happens," stated Show to WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley on the Busted Open Podcast.

"Nia is a strong girl, and she caught Becky. And the thing I love about Becky, she took a full-blown shot to the face.

"Nose bleeding, you and I both know guys that would be crying and whining like little babies if they took a shot like that.

And what was Becky Lynch doing? Standing like the main grinning, like 'That's all you got?' Oh my goodness, that gave me goosebumps, that to me is business right there."

It's one thing being praised by the fans, but positive words coming from a WWE legend will mean so much more to Lynch.

There's so much hope that her momentum continues into 2019, and do not be surprised if she drops the SmackDown belt, wins the Royal Rumble and goes on to face the Rowdy one at the Grandest Stage Of Them All.
