Switzerland staged a brilliant comeback against Belgium on Sunday night to advance to the finals of the Uefa Nations League.

The Red Devils looked as if they would top group A2 after they went 2-0 up with just 17 minutes played.

That meant Switzerland needed to score four goals in order to progress through the group.

So what did Switzerland do? Well, they managed to score five unanswered goals to eventually prevail 5-2.

Goals from Ricardo Rodriguez, Nico Elvedi and a hat-trick from Haris Seferovic would give the home side a stunning victory.

They now join England, Portugal and one of The Netherlands or France in the finals next year.

While Seferovic walked away with the match ball, arguably the best performance of the day came from Xherdan Shaqiri.

Shaqiri has been in great form for Liverpool in recent weeks and he continued that with his national team.

While the 27-year-old did not get on the scoresheet, he played a major role throughout as his side staged their thrilling comeback.

He provided two assists, while also producing a delightful skill to set up his side's fifth goal of the game.

The full highlights of his 'masterclass' have now emerged and they are extremely impressive.

Watch them below:

Seriously impressive. Shaqiri's talent has always been plain to see and it looks as if he is finally becoming the player that many thought he would be.

Many eyebrows were raised by Liverpool's purchase of Shaqiri in the summer but it looks as if the £13 million they paid is a huge bargain.

And last week the Swiss international hit back at those that doubted him following the move.

“Many ridiculed me after the transfer by saying that Liverpool are too big for me,” Shaqiri told Blick, per Goal.

“But I was always calm, even when I got little playing time at the beginning.

“I knew of course, because of the experiences at Bayern and Inter, that I have to be patient, work hard and then take my chance when I get it.

“When I was left out at Bayern for three or four games, I felt misunderstood and wanted to go.”

Those that doubted him would feel rather silly now.
