Ousmane Dembele has failed to live up to expectations since his €105 million move to Barcelona from Dortmund last year.

The Frenchman has performed adequately on the pitch, scoring 10 goals in 38 games for the club, but it is his attitude off the pitch that has come into question.

His most recent offence came last week when he was absent from training on Thursday.

Dembele initially gave the excuse that he was suffering from a sore stomach, but full details have emerged that indicate that is not the case.

It is understood that Dembele actually stayed up all night playing video games with friends and forgot to set his alarm for training the next day.

This is just the latest incident whereby the 21-year-old has struggled with his discipline, and AS claim that his actions have sparked deep concern at Barcelona.

They even believe that he is suffering from a gaming disorder which is harming his career as a footballer.

His actions have caused controversy and now Luis Suarez has reacted to Dembele's latest actions.

According to Get French Football News, Suarez said: "I think being a footballer is a privilege.

"I think he should focus on football, and take inspiration from the exemplary professionals in the Barcelona dressing room."

Suarez then went on to say that the 21-year-old must be more responsible, per Mundo Deportivo.

Well said, Suarez.

Dembele is clearly not concentrating on his football at the moment.

Despite possessing an abundance of talent, his behaviour away from the pitch is seriously hindering his success for Barcelona.

As Suarez says, there are a number of model professionals in Barcelona's first team and he would be wise to follow their example.

If Dembele decides to do this, then there is no doubt that he could turn his fortunes around and be a success at Barcelona.
