WWE has released an injury report on Braun Strowman following an attack on Monday Night Raw this week by Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and acting Raw general manager Baron Corbin.

At the start of Raw, WWE announced that The Monster Among Men will face The Lone Wolf in a TLC match at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs next month.

Immediately following the TLC match announcement, WWE booked a six-man tag elimination match of Strowman, Elias, and Finn Balor vs Corbin, McIntyre, and Lashley, which is where Strowman's 'injury' occurred.

During the match, McIntyre attacked Strowman in a chair, resulting in a disqualification, but this didn't stop any further beat down.

The Sinister Scot then hit a Claymore Kick on The Monster Among Men before he was then speared by Lashley and then positioned with his arm exposed on the steel steps.

Corbin then hit the exposed arm with another set of steel steps, resulting in what WWE is reporting as 'serious' injuries in the form of a shattered elbow for Strowman.

The report also states that Strowman underwent evaluation by WWE medical personnel to determine the extent of the damage.

Michael Cole later said during the broadcast that Strowman had suffered a 'shattered elbow', but the injury is most likely kayfabe in order to increase the hype for his match vs the acting Raw general manager at TLC.

A lot is on the line for both Strowman and Corbin at TLC next month. As well as being a TLC match, three other stipulations are tied to the outcome of the match.

If Strowman defeats the acting Raw general manager, he will get a Universal Championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble, and Corbin will lose all authority. If Corbin beats The Monster Among Men though, then he will become the permanent general manager of Monday Night Raw.

Nevertheless, WWE continues to make their injuries sound extreme in order to excel storylines and superstars. If The Monster Among Men did have a shattered elbow, he likely would be out for some time and not competing at TLC.
