There has been no shortage of attention on Loris Karius since his loan departure from Liverpool.

One of the biggest reasons behind his move to Besiktas will have been escaping the public eye, although supporters have continued to monitor his process in Turkey.

In truth, the negative moments have received more recognition with the events of the Champions League final still fresh in the memory.

Despite enjoying a solid finish to last season, his two mistakes in Kiev seemed to affect Karius mentally and were followed up by errors against Tranmere Rovers and Borussia Dortmund.

It certainly seemed to influence Jurgen Klopp's decision to move him on, selecting Simon Mignolet as his number two option and bringing in Alisson Becker for big money.

Karius' progress at Besiktas

And Liverpool fans were certainly intrigued to see how Karius would fare at a different club and if the events of the year would continue to force mistakes.

Now 11 games into his time in Turkey and there have been errors with a bizarre blunder against Malmo receiving plenty of media attention.

There were even reports that Besiktas could drop him to the bench as well as suggestions his loan spell - despite being two years in length - might be terminated.

Highlight reel emerges of Karius

Yet all the suggestions from Turkey itself are suggesting Karius has been performing well and there's certainly video evidence to back it, which is receiving far less publicity.

And a brilliant example has emerged on YouTube in recent weeks, documenting Karius' highlights this season and it shows he deserves far more credit for his performance.

Perhaps justifiably titled 'Reborn,' it showcases a number of brilliant saves from Karius who looks to be finding his very best form again. Take a look at the compilation down below:

Brilliant to see.

Liverpool fans will be very pleased that Karius is showing the quality they always knew he had, and it serves as quite the rebuttal to his occasional errors.

Hopefully the 25-year-old can maintain this kind of form across the campaign to make sure his loan spell is successful and his career isn't defined by one night in Kiev.

When asked to assess Karius' performance earlier this season, Turkish football expert Emre Sarigul noted: "It is also worth highlighting that Karius has made important saves to rescue his side.

"Karius has conceded 15 goals in 10 starts for the Black-Whites but raw statistics can be misleading. Karius has been playing behind a back four that has been struggling for consistency since Pepe picked up an injury.

"Besiktas have conceded seven goals in three games without the former Real Madrid centre-back, while luck has not been on their side this season: there have already been three own goals."
