Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury’s December mega-fight is fast approaching.

Preparations have reached their most intense with fight night now less than two weeks away.

The two heavyweights will finally come to blows in Los Angeles on the December 1 in what is sure to be a titanic battle.

Tyson Fury has made a remarkable comeback to fitness having fallen completely out of shape while struggling with depression.

Since announcing his return to the ring Fury has dropped 150 pounds and looks set to provide Wilder with quite a challenge.

Having made light work of Sefer Seferi in June, the match-up with Wilder could prove to be the biggest night of Fury’s career.

However, Wilder will not be looking to be just another page in Fury’s comeback fairytale, and instead will be looking to provide a rather abrupt and painful full-stop.

He is a confident man too, and will probably be the favourite of the two when they step out under the Los Angeles lights.

Now, the American has fired a comical, if rather bizarre, warning at his English opponent - all while holding a cup of tea.

That’s right. Wilder claims he is going to knock Fury out, before taking a sip of his tea.

Check out the video below:

Well then.

Who knew that Deontay was the kind of guy to drink his tea with the bag still in it?

Either way, as far as pre-fight trash talk goes, this has to go down as one of the stranger efforts.

It probably won’t phase Fury in the slightest, and he will probably have a joke or two to make about it the next time he gets in front of a camera.

One thing is for certain though, it promises to be a monumental night at the beginning of December, as two of the world’s best heavyweights meet head on.

We simply can’t wait for that first bell to ring.
