Leyton Orient midfielder Adam Chambers will be sidelined for a month after undergoing a calf operation.

The 29-year-old former West Brom man went under the knife in a bid to cure a long-standing problem.

"We're hoping he will be back for our first game in December," said Orient manager Russell Slade.

"We were having to manage him to get him through, but we've nailed the problem down, he's had the operation and we're hoping he'll be back in less than four weeks."
