When it comes to securing new deals, Liverpool have been flawless in 2018-19.

The Reds enjoyed a spectacular summer transfer window with the arrivals of Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker sparking hope of a Premier League title challenge.

However, the club's business has extended beyond transfer deals and Liverpool have been equally successful in securing the futures of their existing stars.

Roberto Firmino put pen to paper on a new Liverpool deal back in April, with Mohamed Salah following in his footsteps with a five-year contract in July.

And this week, Liverpool have completed the full set and have secured the futures of their entire front three by confirming that Sadio Mane has committed his future until 2023.

Mane signs new deal

In a statement with Liverpool's official website, Mane remarked: "I am very happy to extend my time at Liverpool. It is a great day for me and I have made the best decision in my career.

"I am looking forward to everything - to helping the team, to helping the club achieve our dreams and, especially, to win trophies.

"I've always said, when I knew I had a chance to come here I didn't have to think twice. The right club in the right moment and with the right coach as well. I came here and was very happy."

Liverpool to secure 3 more deals

You'd think at this point that Liverpool could put their feet up and relax, but it seems the club aren't finished when it comes to securing Jurgen Klopp's team.

According to The Times, the Reds are already implementing plans to extend the stays of no less than three more first-team players.

The report reads: "Liverpool have also opened talks with Joe Gomez over a contract extension after the defender’s eye-catching performances, while the progress of Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, the full backs, will be recognised."

That's a pretty major update and will be music to the ears of Liverpool supporters.

Gomez has been something of a revelation alongside Virgil van Dijk this season, while Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have maintained their high standards from last year.

If you'd have said Liverpool's back four would include those three 18 months ago, fans probably would have laughed but they've become some of the Premier League's finest under Klopp.

And it would be hard to argue that they deserve anything other than a contract extension from Liverpool or a show of faith at the very least.

There's a real feel good factor around Liverpool at the moment, but that will need to translate into silverware sooner rather than later.

The powers that be at Anfield have done everything to secure transfer deals and contracts, yet Klopp is still waiting for his first trophy at the club.

Liverpool are doing so much right, that they can't allow this season to pass them by.
