After suffering a crushing sixth-round knockout defeat to Dillian Whyte back in March, it didn't take long for many boxing fans to criticise the physical condition Lucas Browne found himself in for such a big fight. The emphatic win for Whyte was the first of Browne's professional boxing career, but the convincing nature in which Browne was knocked out, left everyone questioning the Aussie. After the fight, Browne opened up about existing mental health problems that he had been secretly fighting, which in turn took effect on his physical well-being.Ricky Hatton, former world champion and Browne's promoter, revealed his disappointment with his client, who had failed to disclose the problems he was suffering at the time. The relationship seemingly deteriorated from there, as the two resorted to trying to contact each other over social media instead of privately.Eight months after the fight, however, and it seems that Browne is on the right road as he bids to move back towards the upper echelons of the sport.Having made his in-ring return in September, beating Julius Long for the second time in three years, Browne then called out Dave Allen and Adam Kownacki in his post-match comments. He is back in action this weekend but not against either of those aforementioned rivals.Instead, he is set to face Junior Pati, a 36-year-old New Zealander with 22 professional defeats on his record - according to BoxRec.Not exactly prime opposition then.Nonetheless, it is pretty clear Browne is still taking the fight extremely seriously if the weigh-in is anything to go by.That's because he is looking in fantastic shape and tipped the scales at 243.3lbs, a career low.Given the fight is still quite a low key affair, there hasn't been too much media interest and only one or two images of the new-look Browne have emerged.

This is how he looked at the weigh-in before facing Whyte earlier in the year.

Now that's quite an effort!

“I’ve had a tremendous training camp for this fight. We went to Thailand and I got absolutely punished. I’m not underestimating Junior Pati one bit,” said Browne.

“I’m really happy with my weight and after the Dillian Whyte fight I knew I had to make some serious changes. I came in lighter for my last fight and lighter again today.”
