Real Madrid sunk to a whole new low with a disastrous 3-0 defeat to Eibar on Saturday.
Having endured a desperately disappointing season so far, supporters were hoping that Julen Lopetegui's exit would spark a turnaround but there is still plenty of concerns in the Spanish capital.
With Eibar sitting in a lowly thirteenth going into the game, they had only mustered three goals against Los Blancos in their history yet managed to double that tally in just 90 minutes.
Gonzalo Escalante opened the scoring after just 16 minutes after latching onto a rebound, with Thibaut Courtois initially denying Kike from close range.
Real Madrid looked to have stopped the rot throughout the remainder of the first-half and entered the break at 1-0, still leaving Santiago Solari with plenty to think about.
Eibar 3-0 Real Madrid
Any inspirational team-talk during the break was quickly dispelled, though, with Eibar scoring a quick second-half double to sink the visitors.
Alvaro Odriozola gave away possession too easily and allowed Sergi Enrich to double the home side's advantage, only for Kike to finish off the game in front of an empty net.
It was hectic few minutes that put Real Madrid to the sword with the final whistle confirming the 3-0 scoreline and leaving fans pointing their fingers at a number of key players.
Real Madrid fans react to Bale
One of those was a certain Gareth Bale, who has become quite the talking point this season.
Struggling up front alongside the likes of Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio, supporters quickly lamented his performance on Twitter and came to some pretty strong conclusions.
And after a number of disappointing showings in recent weeks, they collectively agreed that Bale isn't capable of becoming Real Madrid's main man.
Some even brought Cristiano Ronaldo into it and wanted Lucas Vazquez ahead of him. Check out the finest tweets below:
The fans are seriously unhappy.
Many were surprised that Real Madrid decided against a direct replacement for Ronaldo this summer and it was assumed that Bale would inherit the mantle as the club's main man.
Yet despite an initially promising start to the season, Bale just hasn't delivered the goods and is lacking the goal return to convince the supporters of his credentials.
There is little doubting his quality, even at a club like Real, but fans don't want him leading their line and being called upon when the team is in trouble.
And when you look at the nature of his performances recently, it's difficult to argue with the fans and makes you wonder if Florentino Perez will seek major investment next summer.
There was speculation that Bale wanted to leave the Bernabeu after the Champions League final and a major stipulation was being trusted as Real's main man.
Just four months into the project, though, and the fans have given up.
