Liverpool faced another tough test of their Premier League title credentials at Watford this weekend.
The Reds have made one of their greatest starts to a league season, but questions continue to be asked of their attack compared to the free-scoring Manchester City.
And although the trip to Vicarage Road isn't the most daunting prospect on the fixture list, Javi Gracia's team have been impressing this season and certainly wouldn't be pushovers.
That considered, Jurgen Klopp played a very attacking team for the visit with Xherdan Shaqiri supporting the usual front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
Shaqiri was seen as a back-up for the leading trio, but has proven himself in midfield recently and has already been established as something of a fans' favourite.
Watford vs Liverpool
His recent performances against Huddersfield Town and Fulham have certainly given Liverpool fans plenty to shout about, so his presence in the latest starting XI was always a positive.
And the Swiss international quickly became a talking point throughout the first-half, despite Liverpool struggling to break the deadlock.
The goal would eventually arrive around the hour mark with Mohamed Salah continuing his rich vein of form but Shaqiri gave supporters plenty to cheer about at 0-0.
Liverpool fans love Shaqiri's passing
That's because many Kopites considered him their best player and highlighted his range of passing as a key quality throughout the match.
Fans on Twitter praised him for his set piece delivery, long balls from deep and his ability to penetrate the Watford defence with through-balls.

Liverpool fans knew Shaqiri was a great signing but he's exceeded all expectations.
Unfortunately, a bizarre moment in the second-half might endure as his most memorable moment in the game, producing a shot so wayward it turned into a pass for Mane.
As fas as his intended passes are concerned, though, there was nobody better on the pitch and he once again reminded Klopp what he has to offer.
His performance in the second-half faded a little, with James Milner coming on as his replacement but he did more than enough during the opening 45 minutes.
As many of the fans noted, Shaqiri is one of the most underrated passers in the Premier League.
