When Big Show arrived through the door of WWE in 1999, a star was pretty much born.

An agile seven-foot monster, Show could run the ropes and hit dropkicks like a light heavyweight in his prime.

As he's gotten older though, the mobility slowly wore off, and despite a huge weight loss, he's still not the Show of old.

After a stellar career, many thought Show had actually quietly retired from in-ring competition last year. His last match had been against Braun Strowman in a Steel Cage match, which seemed like a passing of the torch moment.

Show had hip surgery shortly after, and it was reported that he had transitioned into an ambassadorial role behind the scenes within the company.

But just a few weeks later, Show made a surprise unannounced return on an episode of SmackDown, facing off against Randy Orton in a WWE World Cup qualifier.

And just a week later, Big Show made the latest in a long line of heel turns when helping The Bar defeat The New Day on the historic 1000th episode of SmackDown.

There's still really been no explanation for the random partnership, the obvious reasoning would be that Sheamus and Cesaro headhunted him as added muscle after being outnumbered by The New Day for so long.

Despite his return, Show isn't getting any younger, now at the age of 46.

TMZ Sports caught up with the former world champion to ask him about his future in the company, and he was pretty certain that he's still got a lot to give.

“I’m still good," said Show. "I mean, I tweaked a hamstring last week so I’m a little sore - but other than that, no. I’m having fun. I signed a new deal last year. I got a couple of years left, I’m having fun.

“We’ll evaluate in a couple of years.”

So it seems like we will see the World's Largest Athlete on our screens for the foreseeable future.

Whether he can stay fit and healthy remains to be seen, but WWE fans should be able to tolerate Show if he isn't hogging television screen time on a weekly basis.
