When it comes to the Eubank family, it's impossible not to talk about boxing.

Chris Eubank Sr is one of the most recognisable characters in the sport and was regarded as one of the finest fighters of his generation, winning the WBO world title at super-middleweight.

And that boxing lineage was carried on to his son - Chris Eubank Jr - who has struggled to enjoy the same success, suffering defeats to Billy Joe Saunders and George Groves.Nevertheless, 'Next Gen' has earned himself some credibility by winning the IBO belt in the same weight division his father campaigned at.The father-son partnership isn't the only source of boxing in the family, though, with Junior's cousin also enjoying a professional career in the sport.

Harlem moves to 6-0

Harlem Eubank, 24, will be hoping to challenge for world titles like his relatives and already has six bouts under his belt after leaving the amateur ranks.

Before the weekend, his record stood at 5-0 with wins over Anto Nakic, Michael Green, Aboubeker Bechelaghem, Ivan Godor and Angel Emilov since his professional debut in 2017.

And Harlem returned from eight months out of the ring at the iconic York Hall in Bethanl Green on Saturday, facing Petar Alexandrov who offered a disappointing record of 3-4.

Boxing fans react to savage KO

So it's perhaps unsurprisingly that Harlem came out victorious, adding another scalp in the professional game with a devastating knockout.

In fact, the performance was so noteworthy that Eubank Jnr just had to tweet the video, writing: "Congratulations to my cousin @HarlemEubank on his KO victory last night at York Hall."

The video has quickly spread across Twitter given the brutal nature of the stoppage and it's sparked some angry reaction amongst boxing fans.

Many - alarmed by the nature of Alexandrov's fall - expressed their concern and disappointment that Harlem didn't check that his opponent was ok.

Take a look at the video below, as well as some of the reaction:

It's a pretty extreme knockout, it must be said.

Alexandrov lies almost motionless in the corner of the ring, his time immediately coming to his aid and Harlem passionately celebrating the victory before the crowd.

Although there is no official confirmation about Alexandrov's health, it can be safely assumed that he has recovered given the publicity of the knockout.

Harlem was clearly riding on the adrenaline of victory and some boxing fans are defending him, as well as commanding it as a potential 'knockout of the year' contender.

And some fans have been a little unfair by bringing criticism of Eubank Sr and Jr into the equation with their very own behaviour often proving divisive.

At the end of the day, though, it proves an emphatic statement from another member of the Eubank family trying to make their name in combat sports.

Whether he'll enjoy the success of those who came before him remains to be seen.
