Things couldn't have gone much worse for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2018 NFL season.A year after making it to the AFC Conference Championship and a huge postseason win over the Steelers that seemed to announce their arrival as main event players for years, the Jags are nowhere near that level right now.Heading into the game today against the Buffalo Bills, the Jaguars found themselves sitting on a 3-7 record and set to face off against the quarterback that Jalen Ramsey trashed during the offseason. They lost. 24-21 to the Buffalo Bills. Their seventh loss in a row. Now they're 3-8 and look like they're heading for a top-10 draft pick. That shouldn't be happening, but something is different with the Jaguars this year, and not in a good way. The problem may be a severe lack of discipline, which reared its ugly head again today as a mass brawl broke out mid-game.In the third quarter, Blake Bortles completed a big pass to his wide receiver Donte Moncrief that was signalled for a touchdown. Moncrief and Bills defender Levi Wallace laid down in the endzone both clinging onto the football for a ridiculously long time.Around them, all hell broke loose. With Wallace and Moncrief fighting for possession, players from both sides came over to try and help their respective teammates. This did not help things. That let to some pushing from Micah Hyde and various Jags, which then led to Jacksonville’s Carlos Hyde and Buffalo's Shaw Lawson giving each other some parting shots. After sprinting all the way from the opposite side of the field, Leonard Fournette took exception to a particularly hard shove from Lawson and took things into his own hands - throwing haymakers at Lawson, who replied with his own hits.

Unsurprisingly, both Fournette and Lawson were tossed out of the game, before nearly coming to blows again in the tunnel.

This is what happens when you keep losing. Players start looking for excuses to do dumb things, which Leonard Fournette has now apologised for.
