This week's Monday Night Raw has already been dubbed by many fans as the worst Raw in the history of the show, but one of the few highlights of the show was Seth Rollins match vs Dolph Ziggler.

The Architect issued an open challenge for his Intercontinental Championship on the red brand last night and it was answered by the superstar he has already faced a million times in 2018 in The Showoff.

While their match was the best match on Raw last night, it still wasn't perfect. The main talking point from the contest amongst fans was the finish.

Rollins managed to stay in his match against Ziggler despite his opponent controlling early on and hitting his Zig Zag finisher.

The Intercontinental Champion then managed to finish the match by hitting a non-finishing move on The Showoff in the form of hitting a superplex off the ropes into a Falcon Arrow for the pinfall victory.

This unusual finish for Rollins of not hitting the Curb Stomp and instead using a non-finishing move to end the match has caused a split of opinion amongst fans on Twitter.

The superplex into a Falcon Arrow maneuver to finish a match was an interesting choice by Rollins to end this match and it definitely is buyable due to the athleticism it requires to execute convincingly.

However, using a non-finishing move on a superstar of Ziggler's stature to end a match is surprising. It's almost as if he tired himself out so quickly that he couldn't kick out of the move, which is strange since many others have kicked out of this move easily before.

As well as being unable to kick out of the Falcon Arrow, The Showoff has also lost another title match. It's difficult to see where exactly he's going to go booking wise from here since The Architect will now look ahead to a date with Dean Ambrose at TLC later this month.

Overall, this is why none saw this match between Rollins and Ziggler as perfect, and it's no where near the best that both superstars have managed to produce in the ring with one another this year while they have been feuding.

Yet, despite this match's finish, it was miles better than any other match that was on the Raw card last night.
