Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny had a successful eight years at Arsenal before making the move to Italy.
The Polish number one has continued his affiliation with the club, repeatedly declaring his love for the Gunners and stating that the North London side would be the only English club he would play for.
It seems one moment in particular has stuck in the memory of Sczcesny with English defender Carl Jenkinson being the brunt of the joke.
Jenkinson signed for the Gunners from Charlton for a fee of £1 million and was expected to be Arsenal's first choice right back. This did not come to fruition unfortunately.
Along with Lukasz Fabianksi, Szczesny took a trip down memory lane, which led to a story regarding Jenkinson making his first appearance for the club.
"I remember, if it goes to sense of humour, when Carl Jenkinson had his debut," Szczesny told Onet.
Jenkinson's blunder a memorable moment for Szczesny
"On the 45th minute he shot me an ownie from 25 metres. You can't imagine, that volley right in the corner.
"And he was in a horrible mood at half-time, sitting depressed. Tears in my eyes."
What made matters worse was the fact that Jenkinson is an Arsenal super-fan, making the own goal hurt so much more.
"Carl is a turbo-fan of Arsenal, there were photos in his room, quilt, posters.
"He came to Arsenal when he was 19 and made his debut in a friendly game vs Koln.
If this wasn't enough, even members of Arsenal's backroom staff were part of the joke, teasing a visible distraught Jenkinson.
"Then Boro [Primorac - a first team coach] comes to him, you know in friendly game and says: 'Carl! Compliments for your first goal for Arsenal'."
