Manchester United’s top-four aspirations took yet another blow on Saturday evening after they could only draw 2-2 with relegation-threatened Southampton.Twenty minutes in, though, it looked as though Jose Mourinho’s side would be leaving the south coast empty-handed.That’s because the home side had established a two-goal lead through Stuart Armstrong and Cedric Soares.United did show the character to bounce back immediately, though, and were level by half-time thanks to Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera. But the Red Devils failed to complete the turnaround and had to settle for a point after not doing enough to win the game in the second-half.There were some positives for Mourinho’s side.Marcus Rashford looked bright, while Lukaku ended his goal drought. But there was also plenty of negatives. And one of them came in the form of Paul Pogba. The midfielder had a terrible game at St. Mary’s and his performance can be summed up in two viral clips which you can see HERE.And another clip has emerged that demonstrates just how poor he was.Incidentally, it occurred at the same time that BT Sport decided to have a little ‘Manager Cam’ in the bottom corner of the screen. The clip showed Pogba being far too casual on the ball in the 82nd-minute before passing it to Nemanja Matic. That prompted his manager to mimic his languid style while sitting on the bench. Then, just seconds later, Pogba attempted to a fancy flick to try and beat a defender resulting in him losing the ball. And you can imagine how Mourinho reacted.

JOSE MOURINHO'S REACTION TO PAUL POGBA

Check it out:

Oh dear.

You do have to have a little bit of sympathy for Mourinho because it must be so infuriating to manage a player like Pogba.

But if you don’t think judging Pogba’s performance against Southampton based on several short clips, then we’ll point you in the direction of Manchester Evening News’ player ratings.

They handed Pogba a 2/10 and wrote: “When United needed someone to grab the game by the lapels Pogba was the obvious go-to man. Alas, he was in feckless mode again. Brainless. 2.”

We wouldn’t be surprised if Mourinho wrote that himself…
