Manchester United’s top-four aspirations took yet another blow on Saturday evening when they could only draw 2-2 with relegation-threatened Southampton. And it could have been a lot worse for Jose Mourinho’s side. They found themselves 2-0 down after just 20 minutes thanks to Stuart Armstong’s strike and Cedric’s free-kick.By half-time, though, the scores were level.Romelu Lukaku ended his goal drought to haul United back into the game and Ander Herrera equalised with a cheeky flick after good work from Marcus Rashford. It looked like there was only one winner from that moment but that’s not quite how the game panned out.Man Utd failed to complete the turnaround in the second-half and had to settle for a solitary point. And it seems Mourinho wasn’t particularly happy in the dressing room after the game - and there was one player in his firing line.According to Duncan Castles from the Daily Record, Mourinho called Paul Pogba a “virus” after the match.

He then went on to say: “You don't play. You don't respect players and supporters. And you kill the mentality of the good honest people around you.”

Wow.

Incidentally, BT Sport brought up a ‘Manager Cam’ of Mourinho when Pogba had the ball late on in the match against Southampton.

And with Pogba acting far too casual on the ball, before eventually losing it, Mourinho’s reacted furiously.

Take a look:

And it wasn’t just Mourinho that wasn’t impressed with Pogba’s display.

Manchester Evening News handed Pogba a 2/10 for his display and wrote: "When United needed someone to grab the game by the lapels Pogba was the obvious go-to man. Alas, he was in feckless mode again. Brainless. 2.”
