Tyson Fury won’t let Alejandro Rochin’s scorecard ruin what was a brilliant night for him.Rochin is the judge that scored his fight against Deontay Wilder 115-111 in favour of the American, denying Fury the WBC heavyweight belt despite being the better pugilist on the night. The fight ended in a draw, much to the bemusement of many boxing fans and pundits.“This decision is a joke. Alejandro Rochin better never work another day in his life in boxing,” Paulie Malignaggi was quoted as saying by the Mirror.Fury, to his credit, didn’t make a fuss of the result. He said he thought he did enough to win the fight but was more interested in thanking Wilder for the opportunity and expressing his relief at coming through unscathed.Which, after being knocked down twice by Wilder, is close to a miracle. There’s talk of a rematch but nobody is quite sure what the future holds for the heavyweight division in 2019, with Anthony Joshua hoping to become the undisputed champion.

Joshua will have been impressed with Fury’s performance, though. The 30-year-old didn’t look like a man who has battled so many problems away from the ring in the past three years.

Fury can now look ahead to the future, where he figures to play a major role in the battle to dominate the heavyweight division.

Footage has emerged showing Fury as he returns to his dressing room after the fight.

The Gypsy King only tried to remain positive, not getting down about the result as his team remind him that this was his first major fight in three years.

“We know the truth, I won that fight,” Fury says.

Fury later delivered a heartfelt message to those suffering from mental health problems.

"If I can comeback from what I've been through then you can do it too,” he told BT Sport.

Fury has come back from rock bottom. During his two-and-a-half years away from the sport, he battled drugs and depression, while his weight reached 28 stone.

He deserves a lot of respect for returning to the pinnacle of the sport.
