Although it was never thought he'd ever compete in a WWE ring again once he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, you can never rule out another match for Kurt Angle.

Since he etched his name alongside the all-time greats, the general manager of Monday Night RAW has still stepped into the ring on several occasions, and it's going to be no surprise if he does the same again as the months pass by.

IN-RING PERFORMANCES

He's filled in for Roman Reigns when teaming up with The Shield, he's been Ronda Rousey's tag team partner at WrestleMania and he's also featured at Survivor Series.

Recently, Baron Corbin is the name that has been doing the rounds as a potential opponent down the line.

The power struggle storyline on the red brand makes complete sense, but Angle has discussed who he'd like to face in a potential retirement match down the line - even if we don't exactly know when that might be.

Angle was taking part in his usual Q&A sessions on Facebook when he answered some interesting questions.

Angle believes Jinder Mahal is a true heel in the WWE and a very valuable asset, while he's also a major fan of Velveteen Dream as he has a lot of potential.

He was also asked who he'd face if he only had one match remaining in WWE.

Although he threw out several names at first, he narrowed it down to two eventually - Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan.

TWO OPPONENTS

According to WrestleZone, he posted: "That’s tough. I see so much talent right now. It’s hard to pick one.

"AJ [Styles] or [Samoa] Joe or [Seth] Rollins or [Daniel] Bryan. Then you have Sheamus and Cesaro. [Baron] Corbin. [Chad] Gable and [Jason] Jordan.

"I’d have to go with either Rollins or Bryan. Only because I’ve never wrestled them and I’ve had my eye on them for 5 years."

At the moment, The Kingslayer might seem like the more likely option as he's competing on the Monday night show. However, with Bryan now performing as a heel, there's always a chance that the two could eventually cross paths down the line.

Angle hasn't been too bad in his recent in-ring performances, but he'll certainly need somebody to do most of the legwork with Rollins and Bryan perfect in that role.
