Arsenal made a huge statement yesterday afternoon.
After clear progress under Unai Emery, the Gunners recorded their best win under the Spaniard so far by beating Tottenham 4-2 at the Emirates.
Spurs went in at half-time 2-1 up, but a second goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and strikes from Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira after the break sealed the three points.
Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey's introduction at half-time completely changed the outlook of the game, with the Welshman producing an outstanding 45-minute cameo.
He picked up two assists, leading Arsenal fans to question why the club will be letting him leave for free in the summer.
Ramsey was also involved in a heated altercation with Eric Dier while still a substitute in the first-half after the Spurs man's equaliser.
Cameras picked up Dier telling Ramsey to "sit back down" during a melee between the two sides.
Of course, the Welshman would have the last laugh and he's rubbed salt into the wounds with a very cheeky Instagram post.
RAMSEY GETS HIS REVENGE
Top work, Aaron.
The victory over Spurs is the watershed moment Emery would have been craving in his short time in north London.
Arsenal have looked good under his rule, but they needed a win of this calibre.
"It is a very big victory; we showed our supporters and we gave them the victory because it is a very special match against Tottenham, for us it is special also," Emery said, per BBC.
"But above all it is three points, like against Bournemouth last weekend. We need to continue our process, creating our way. I want to do more."
The Gunners are now unbeaten in 19 games across all competitions, with a tough away trip to Manchester United coming on Wednesday evening.
However, given United's struggles under Jose Mourinho, Emery will be quietly confident that he can earn to marquee victories in the space of four days.
