Tranmere boss Les Parry will be without midfielder Joss Labadie for the home clash with Plymouth.

Labadie must serve a one-match ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season in Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Bury in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy.

Parry will assess the fitness of Dale Jennings and Ian Goodison ahead of the visit of Peter Reid`s men.

Jennings was an unused substitute in the midweek win over Bury while Goodison was rested with an ankle injury.

Yet Parry says he will have no concerns about retaining Jermaine Grandison in defence should Goodison be ruled out.

"Jermaine did well on Tuesday and if Ian's not right then Jermaine will keep his place and we haven't got any worries on that score," said Parry.

Plymouth manager Peter Reid welcomes Kari Arnason back.

Arnason has served his three-match suspension after he was sent off in the 4-2 defeat to Oldham and is available for selection.

Midfielder Dean Parrett has had his loan spell at Argyle cancelled six months earlier than expected with him returning to his parent club Tottenham following a sending-off in last week`s FA Cup defeat to Swindon for a reckless two-footed lunge.

Carl Fletcher is having a scan this week to assess his leg injury and is thought be unavailable, while Chris Clark will retain his place in midfield after his goal in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Exeter.

Luke Summerfield is still struggling with a knee injury while Bondz N'Gala should keep his place in defence.
