Fan footage captures Sadio Mane mocking Idrissa Gueye following Origi's late winner

Sadio Mane mocked Idrissa Gueye after Origi's winner in Merseyside derby

Liverpool managed to win what was one of the most dramatic Merseyside derby's in recent history on Sunday evening.

In a game that was full of missed opportunities, it was Divock Origi who stole the points in the sixth minute of overtime after profiting from a disastrous mistake from Jordan Pickford.

The England goalkeeper failed to deal with Virgil van Dijk's audacious effort from outside the box and, with the ball rebounding off the bar and back into play, Origi had the easy task of converting into an empty net.

Understandably, everyone associated with Liverpool inside Anfield went crazy.

Jurgen Klopp ran on to the pitch to celebrate with Alisson. Xherdan Shaqiri could be seen throwing his coat in celebration on the bench.

Nearly all of Liverpool's players celebrated wildly in front of their fans.

But, it is perhaps Sadio Mane's reaction which is the most interesting.

The Senegalese international did not celebrate. Instead, he decided to mock his countryman, Idrissa Gueye.

Mane had been upset with Gueye's time wasting during the latter stages of the game.

With Gueye taking his time on the ground, Mane was visibly frustrated and tried to get him off the pitch so the game could continue as soon as possible.

Two separate videos show him pushing Gueye's head and picking up the physio's bag to try and hurry him up.

So, with Liverpool scoring in the last minute, Mane decided he would take some revenge.

Although it was not picked up by Sky cameras, fan footage has captured him mocking Gueye seconds after Origi scored the winner.

Mane grabs the ball and immediately turns around to try and hand it to Gueye.

But it did not go down well with the Everton man, who punched it out of his hands knowing that his side had no time to equalise.

Watch the moment below:

That is gold from Mane.

It's fair to say there will be a bit of tension when they next meet up to play for Senegal...
